Summer is going fast

Oi, summer has begun and I already feel like it is half over. I have all kinds of good intentions to keep my blog up to date but as they say "The road to hell is paved with good intentions"

I thought we could make it through the summer this year without the air conditioner. Oh well so much for that.

Maybe I should put up pics of the garden, will the corn be knee hi by the fourth of July?

May is over one year older

Oops I guess I haven't been keeping up on the blog. Just way too much to do. We are beginning the remodel of the house finally after three and a half years. I am really looking forward to having a new - rebuilt house. If I can live through the tile samples.

Half of the people in the office wore pink today. No like I really mean it. I think everyone is just about crazy for spring. Move over you smelly little leprechaun... here comes Peter F**kin Cottontail.

In loving Memory of Jim Rickman

Jim is on the left I'm on the right, this photo was taken sometime between 1982 - 84.

I just found out today that an old friend passed away. Jim Rickman was a very influential person in my early life and I am sad to learn of his passing. Albeit a few years ago. News like this is never easy to take.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Shana and son Daniel.

Let us not forget that our time here is short.

"If ever you go seeking your heart's desire you shouldn't look beyond your own backyard. Because if it's not there, maybe you never lost it to begin with..." as said by Dorothy Gale at the end of the Wizard of Oz.
